Disclaimer: This is our plan and may not work for everyone. We like structure, but feel free to adapt it to fit your own learning style and pace.
We’d love to share our home education schedule for September and October with you! It’s a mix of structure, creativity, and fun activities that help keep our days flowing smoothly. We’ve found that having a bit of routine works really well for us, but we know that every family is different. If you’re looking for inspiration or new ideas, feel free to take what fits and adjust as needed! This is what works for us, and it might not suit everyone. Remember, the best plans are those that adapt to your family's needs. Either way, we hope it gives you a helpful starting point.
I wanted to share a little insight into how we’ve set up our schedule. We’ve mixed in academics with fun stuff like swimming, bicycle club, book club, and horse riding to keep things interesting. And if our interests change, no worries—we just adjust the schedule to fit. Flexibility is key! It helps keep the days fresh and exciting for everyone. So, if you’re planning out your own routine, just remember to keep it adaptable and follow what lights up your child’s enthusiasm. Here’s to making learning fun and flexible!
We also include simple household chores that are age-appropriate for a 12-year-old, such as tidying up their room, setting the table, and helping with meal prep. These tasks not only teach responsibility but also help keep our home running smoothly.
Happy Planning!
